Boys From The Bush

Boys From The Bush is a British television series produced by the BBC.
The series dealt with the life of Reg Toomer (Tim Healy), an ex-pat Briton living in Australia and running a failing private detective agency with his shifty business partner Dennis Tontine (Chris Haywood). His cousin Leslie (Mark Haddigan) arrives in Melbourne from the United Kingdom and works for Reg as a detective. Other major characters seen in the series included Reg's lovelorn wife Doris (Pat Thomson), assertive daughter Arlene (Nadine Garner), Dennis' ex-wife Corrie (Kirsty Child) and kindly madam Delilah (Kris McQuade).
Two series of ten episodes each were made between 1991 and 1992.
