Boyan Jovanovic

Boyan Jovanovic (born 04/05/1951 in Belgrade, Serbia ) is a professor of economics at New York University.
Jovanovic, of Serbian descent, received his undergraduate education at the London School of Economics and his graduate training at the University of Chicago.
Jovanovic's graduate theses resulted in two groundbreaking models of job turnover: "Job matching and the theory of turnover" and "Firm-specific Capital and Turnover" both published in the Journal of Political Economy in 1979.
Boyan Jovanovic is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
