Chicó F.C., is a Colombian football club based in the city of Tunja. The club was founded March 26, 2002[1] in Bogotá as "Deportivo Bogotá Chicó F.C." [2] named after one of the city's neighborhood. After gaining promotion from Primera B in 2003[3] and playing one more season in the contry's capital, the team was relocated to its current ground and renamed "Boyacá Chicó F.C." They currently play their home games at the La Independencia stadium, which has a capacity of approximately 8,500 seats.
