With all due respect, renaming an article about the original series' Boxey to the article Captain Troy was all kinds of terrible. Perhaps the fault was mine for mentioning Troy in the original article on Boxey, but both should have their own articles, along with the new series' Boxey. Also, this cluttering of the category with disambiguation pages left and right is confusing, chaotic, largely unneccessary, and unwieldy. --BlueSquadronRaven 07:24, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Captain Troy and Boxey should not be merged as they are, for all intents and purposes, two very different persons from two different shows who should thus have separate articles to keep things distinct. --BlueSquadronRaven 23:57, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

- nomination-Both these pages are stubs with little information which is essentially completely reduped. Naming convention does not separate the two enough. A merge of the two now may save the loss of a Boxey or two due to AfD, in the increasing wave of AfD that are going thru many fictional character pages, recently. -66.109.248.114 (talk) 03:25, 9 March 2008 (UTC).
- Does Boxey even deserve to have his own page at all? He is already a part of the List of minor characters in Battlestar Galactica (re-imagining) page for the current series, and the 1 or 2 lines of information about him from the original series should probably be included elsewhere also. - The only rationale I could see is if all versions of Boxey (Boxey, Boxey (re-imagined), Captain Troy) were combined, as he had a more major role in the orginal series and 1980; however, I'm still not sure if combined he would still pass an AfD. -66.109.248.114 (talk) 20:07, 9 March 2008 (UTC).
