Box Hill School is an independent coeducational boarding and day school situated in the village of Mickleham near Dorking, England. The school has approximately 400 students aged 11-18, a large proportion of which are from overseas. The school will offer the International Baccalaureate from September 2008.
The school was founded in September 1959 by Mr Roy McComish, a housemaster and art master at Gordonstoun School in Scotland. It is one of the founding schools of the International Round Square Association. Mr Mark Eagers has been headmaster since September 2002.

[edit] Thirds
Each student is assigned to a group or third for competitions in music, sports and various other events. There were originally three groups of pupils, however the number of thirds has now increased to six to accommodate the larger school population. The current thirds are:

- Olympians
- Trojans
- Thebans
- Corinthians
- Athenians
[edit] Guardians
Instead of Pupils being assigned and named Head boy and Head girl they are called Guardians.
