[edit] Grammar

Correct usage is "a RAF" not "an RAF" - see RAF website jmb 21:25, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Proposal to delete user 84.43.104.66's edits

This user has made several additions to the page, which are quite funny, but which should probably be deleted. They are not NPOV, and some are obviously untrue - for example "Iain Brown . . . is often compared to to the likes of Alex Ferguson and Bob Paisley", and for example "flying low over the main street . . . as this is the only way to get down the street safely . . . " If no-one objects, I will revert all of this user's edits to this article. GeraldH 08:56, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

The edits should stay. Hardly a day goes past without Iain Brown being compared with those other great managers and many a Main Street shopper carries their groceries home in a Sunderland Flying Boat.

I cannot believe anybody with any interest in Bowmore would be happy with a web-page which is designed to promote the village so obviously ridiculing the Island and it's inhabitants. I have changed the web-page into something a little more serious and informative.

[edit] Pronunciation?

Can someone who knows more about it than I do add the correct pronunciation of "Bowmore" to the page, please? gothick (talk) 21:35, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
