[edit] Use in subjects other than meteorology
I've added a wee bit more info, including some nicer equations. I'm only aware of its use in meteorology, so I'm bound to bias this stub in that direction. Anyone know of other areas in which it's used? If not, then maybe it should be merged with an article on evaporation, latent heat or turbulent energy flux. Deditos 23:57, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
- I've only known it to be used in meteorology as well, but I think it can survive just fine as a stand-alone article. I've been hoping to expand this page to include some examples and/or graphs of high/low Bowen ratios, but when I'll get around to doing that, I don't know. In the meantime, I think the page is already expanded well beyond some similar stubs of scientific terms and should be kept. EWS23 | (Leave me a message!) 21:05, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
