[edit] Hyperbowen?
Anyone knows the name of the iterative function that replaces a 90° curve with a quarter of the Bowen knot? It yields a strange curve that looks like a Bowen knot with all corner "circles" replaced by truncated Bowen knots. However, I don't know how it's called. --NetRolller 3D 20:53, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Don't know, but I think you can see a triangular version at http://katlas.math.toronto.edu/wiki/Image:9crossg-notknot.gif -- AnonMoos 15:56, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Knotwork cross
One form of traditional knotwork cross (see Image:Gevlochten Iers kruis Irish cross.jpg) contains a Bowen knot within it (see blue in image). AnonMoos 16:00, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
