Bowser & Blue

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bowser & Blue are a musical comedy team based in Montreal, Canada.

[edit] History

The team was formed in 1978 by George Bowser and Ricky Blue, after each left other bands.

In 1997 they were asked to entertain for the American College of Colorectal Surgeons, and the song they wrote as a tribute - 'Working Where the Sun Don't Shine' (or 'The Colorectal Surgeon Song') - became their biggest hit. They have appeared numerous times since then on the Canadian comedy show 'Madly Off in All Directions' and have had multiple 1-hour television specials featuring their concerts.

They are also the favourite band of former Canadian prime minister Paul Martin[citation needed]
