- Bowling Green plays Toledo for the Peace Pipe in the annual Battle of I-75. Bowling Green's record in games played for the Peace Pipe, which date to 1980, is 13-15. The Falcons currently hold the trophy having won the 2007 contest.
- Bowling Green competes against Kent State for the Anniversary Award, which was introduced in 1985. Michigan's record in games played for the trophy is 18-4. The Falcons currently hold the trophy having won the 2007 contest.
