Bowie State is a passenger rail station on the MARC Penn Line between Washington, D.C., Baltimore, MD and Perryville, MD. This station is also on the southern section of the Northeast Corridor however, Amtrak does not stop at this station.[1]
Bowie State Station was built in 1989 as a replacement for the original Bowie Station built by the Baltimore and Potomac Railroad Company, and acquired by the Pennsylvania Railroad. In 1992, the former station was purchased by the City of Bowie, and transformed into the Huntington Railroad Museum.[2]
