Wondering how to edit this U.S. County Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Counties standards might help.

With regard to Bourbon Whiskey, it can be made anywhere in the U.S. where distilling is permitted. See entry Bourbon whiskey for more information. Cowdery 04:24, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

Bourbon County, Virignia and Fayette County, Virginia were not separated in 1795, because Kentucky became a state in 1792. Either the year of their separation is incorrect, or the auspices of the state under which this occured is wrong. Fayette County, Virginia, was established in 1780 and Bourbon County, Virginia, was carved from Fayette in 1785. Cowdery 04:24, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
