Boukoul

Boukoul (51°13′N, 6°3′E) is a town in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is a part of the municipality of Swalmen, and is situated about 5 km northeast of Roermond.

In 2001, Boukoul counted 818 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.23 km², and contained 322 residences.[1]

Rob Van Aarsen is most likely the most famous inhabitant of Boukoul as he won the local Boukoul Skoda Ralley Championship 3 times driving his sporty 110 BhP TDI across the finish. In 2007 Rob van Aarssen lost the challenge to Miranda who actually is his wife. Rob is also known as "The magical Midget" at the local Boukoul soccer team and is playing with shirt number 7.
