[edit] Discussion
Hi - sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news, but bots of this type have no community consensus to run - take a look at the first entry at Wikipedia:Bots/Frequently denied bots. If there is anything special about this bot, which makes you feel that it can be approved despite this, we will gladly consider the proposal. Thanks, Martinp23 15:34, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, WelcomeBot is somethign which would never (in my opinion) archive consensus. "Bots welcoming bots" ;-) Snowolf (talk) CON COI - 16:12, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- Denied.. History has shown these bots would not be useful for a number of reasons. If you would like to start a community discussion on the talk page of this request you may, and please link it to VP. — xaosflux Talk 03:24, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
