[edit] Discussion
It looks good, and helpful. How will it find out that an AfD has been posted which needs automating, or will it run by request to you (or another interface)? Martinp23 16:02, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- As I said in the function details, it totally run by manual input. So what it does it to append to a list of talk pages provided manually by me the warning that the AfD it's started (for the second function). For the first it's the same, the list of page is manually provided. Maybe in the future I'll make it automatic, but in that case, I'll be back here. Approved for trial. Since the input is manual, the main potential source of error does not appear to be bot related. I considered speedily approving this, but unless someone else wants to second that, I'm just going to approve this for trial. Perform however many edits are required for one or a few AfDs that require this bot. Please post your results here when you are finished. -- RM 15:18, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Done. 23 edits for the List of 56 ZIP codes's afd. Snowolf (talk) CON COI - 16:31, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Approved. You never ran a trial testing the actual speedy tagging of articles for AfD, but I'm not terribly concerned about that. Adding such a tag is basically the same (or less) complexity as posting to people's talk pages. I don't want to hold up this approval just because that particular aspect is not currently available for testing. -- RM 12:46, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
