SmackBot task approval IX
Task: to rename occurrences of template "invalid isbn" to template "please check ISBN".
Method: Automatically using AWB.
Speed: 1-8 per minute.
Number: c. 1000 articles.
Frequency: Once.
Duration: Will take between 2 hours & 1 day.
Testing: trivial with AWB
Reason: some editors find the "invalid isbn" template an insult.

Task: to add and populate the "popofyear" parameter to articles using the "Infobox Swiss town" template.
Method: Automatically using AWB.
Speed: 1-8 per minute.
Number: c. 1800 articles.
Frequency: Once.
Duration: Will take between 4 hours & 1.5 days.
Testing: tested on several hundred articles. verging on trivial.
Reason: The template creates "as of" links, including many to "as of" pages that are deprecated. This will fix all or almost all of these.

- If you hover over "(December 2004)" in the infobox you will see it links to "as of 2004", rather than the previous "as of December 2004", which is deprecated per Wikipedia:As of#Deprecated "As of" pages. Regards, Rich Farmbrough, 17:13 10 September 2006 (GMT).
