[edit] PseudoBot
tasks • contribs • count • sul • logs • page moves • block user • block log • flag log • flag bot
Operator: Pseudomonas(talk)
Automatic or Manually Assisted: Automatic
Programming Language(s): Perl
Function Summary: I'd like to have the bot revert redlinked-or-nolinked birth-or-death edits to year pages such as 1973, in addition to (as at present) date pages such as March 23. No other changes to operation are requested, so it would still only be examining births and deaths placed in the Births or Deaths sections.
Edit period(s) (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): Continuous, as at present.
Already has a bot flag (Y/N): N (antivandalism bot)
[edit] Discussion
- Seems good, same bot, just different places. I see no problem with a speedy approve, what do other BAGs think? Soxred93 (u t) 16:01, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- I think it would be rude to revert peoples edits with no manual control. If users add bad entries, then revert it individually and contact the user. Or did I misunderstand the bot purpose? --Apoc2400 (talk) 21:57, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- The bot already has approval to revert edits automatically (though any user will only be reverted once). I am asking that it be allowed to do this on the year as well as the day pages. Pseudomonas(talk) 23:09, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Approved. Per Soxred no issues and only a very minor change in task. dihydrogen monoxide (H2O) 09:38, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
