Comment. As with your last request, this does not specify exactly what you're going to have the bot do. "For example" is not the right way to list tasks - you need to make a complete list, and for every task of the bot say what that task is, what edits will be made, for how long, why, on what files, and using which criteria. Further, this still does not answer the question of why a bot is needed to do this. If you will be manually reviewing you can manually edit as you go rather than using an unattended bot.Wikidemo 19:22, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Is this nice?, Sometime it's very hard to doing these things using hand (Or JavaScript) exactly when tagging from user's images. I must add "{{commons ok}}\ncommons:category:XX" to all these images (When I am really suer and after reviewing) I think noway to doing this but using bot. --OsamaK 19:58, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

Not every free image with a source is truly a free image. People are fairly clueless about licensing :). You are going to need a better system for identifying free images. CO 01:51, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
The problem is when I tag per WP:MTC I most add a category (as [[commons:category:XXX]]) I think that's really hard using hand when I tag many images..--OsamaK 02:43, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

(unindent) Before this bot task can be approved you need to state, in detail:

  1. How will the decision to tag be made;
  2. Which tag(s) will be placed on the images with which criterion; and
  3. What edits will be performed on the page.

As a reminder, if you will be doing the selection yourself and approving edits manually then there is no need to use a bot account for that, and a bot bit will not be required on given out— those are used to mark unattended automatic processes. From what I understand of your current description, it appears likely that what you need to do will be done trivially with AWB using your normal user account. — Coren (talk) 23:15, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

OK, no problem , but I have written the answers :)
  1. How will the decision to tag be made: I'll check images then tag them;
  2. Which tag(s) will be placed on the images with which criterion: These ones above (The most important one is {{commons ok}}).
  3. What edits will be performed on the page: Adding tags only.
And JS scripts can't do what I want (When I want tagging user's images after manual review with {{commons ok}} I must add the tag as this format "{{tl|commons ok}}<br>[[commons:category:uploaded by XXX" That's really hard and slow using JaveScript!). And using my normal account is really slow.--OsamaK 18:25, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
