[edit] Discussion
The bot does not yet have a user page. Could you please create one that includes {{bot|Mathfor}}
at the top? Kind regards, — E talkbots 08:51, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- If you are just reading content, please use a database dump. You can extract these into a local copy of the MediaWiki software, and read values directly. You can see the avilable downloads at the download site Matt/TheFearow (Talk) (Contribs) (Bot) 08:53, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Waiting for the bot operator to acknowledge that downloading the database dumps will serve his purpose, whereupon either he can withdraw his request or the BAG will deny it. — madman bum and angel 03:38, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
“ | 5. Bots that download substantial portions of the page database are prohibited. Instead, download the database dumps. See also Wikipedia:Mirrors and forks. | ” |
- Our objective is not actually write new content. We will try to work with a local copy of Wikipedia and consider a new request later. Thank you very much for the discussion... MathFoR 9:46, 9 August(UTC)
