Quick question, why are you not using m:pywikipedia? its the python bot framework. βcommand 11:33, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I wanted to see how far I could get using the basic Python libraries. Mainly just for practice. But it seems I can do as much as I need for now without using the framework.--Kotniski 14:27, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
I'm not sure that I understand your function summary. You must request approval for a specific task, so I assume that the task listed in Function details: is the task for which you seek approval? — madman bum and angel 15:23, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, that's right.--Kotniski 06:09, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- For the "first task", Approved for trial (50 edits). Like Madman said, you need to request approval for each specific task in the future. —METS501 (talk) 02:34, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- This task was completed (it didn't require more than the 50 edits allowed for the trial). And Kotbot (Task 2) has now been separately approved. So I guess this request should be archived?--Kotniski 07:18, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes. Just withdraw it; the task no longer applies. — madman bum and angel 15:41, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
