[edit] Discussion
Approved for trial (10 edits). Let's see what this looks like. —METS501 (talk) 00:28, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I've got it doing some of what I intended it to do (see recent contributions). To get it up to full functionality (and eliminate the red links that keep appearing) I'll need to continue the trial with a larger number of edits (say 100?). It will still be running under my close supervision, with all edits being reviewed and if necessary revised by me.--Kotniski 15:59, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
- OK, feel free to make more edits as necessary, just make sure to approve all of them manually for now. Also, be careful of redlinked templates. —METS501 (talk) 14:30, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- Will do, thanks.--Kotniski 17:33, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well, this now seems to be working as it should. Can the trial be considered successful and the bot be allowed to run normally? I will keep reviewing samples of its edits (and the bot is programmed to alert me when it finds something unexpected, like when a page it tries to create already exists).Kotniski 13:19, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
- In fact I've made some changes to the code and there are issues with Geoboxes as well, so the trial status can continue for now.Kotniski 19:44, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Let us know when you're satisfied with its progress and the trial is ready for review. :) — madman bum and angel 13:34, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
