To emphasize the point made above, manually assisted bots do not need approval unless they seek the bot flag. The bot flag is not needed for a bot performing 20 edits per hour. Please clarify or else this request will be closed because it isn't needed. -- RM 15:08, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Denied. The request for a bot flag has been denied. Since the latest operator update to this page changed the number of edits per hour from 20 to 5, there is now clearly no reason for a manually operated bot to have the bot flag. Naturally the bot can still function manually, but it does not need any special approval to do so. -- RM 14:08, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
