Function Summary: Creates project wide watchlists

Function Details: The bot creates a page containing links to all the pages related to a project. The list of articles can be based either on a category related to the project or pages that have the project's template in their talk page. It's grown out of User:joshurtree/createwatchlist.js that I originally created to do the job.

User:SQLBot does pretty much the same task... It's pretty uncontroversial, I don't see a problem with this task... SQLQuery me! 18:14, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
I've lobbed some maxlag code in for 5 seconds. The 30 edits a minute is only a theoretical upper limit. It currently only has 3 projects using it and one of them takes about 5 seconds to deal with due to the number of items in it. As its run so irregually it could be as slow or fast as you like. josh (talk) 15:22, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
