[edit] HermesBot
tasks • contribs • count • sul • logs • page moves • block user • block log • flag log • flag bot
Operator: Wikihermit
Automatic or Manually Assisted: Automatic - Unsupervised
Programming Language(s): AWB
Function Summary: Delivers template messages.
Edit period(s) (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): One Time Run
Edit rate requested: 10 edits per Minute
Already has a bot flag (Y/N): N
Function Details:The bot will be used to deliver templates to specific pages. For example, if WP:X has a newsletter, a category would be created of users who want want the newsletter delivered. I would go into AWB --> Make List --> Category --> then that category would be made into a list. Next I would select the "More" tab on AWB and select "Append." I would add the template to append in the text box below that, and depending on the Wikiproject's wishes, would or wouldn't add "subst:". I would use the same idea for Wikiprojects if I needed to add a template like {{WikiProject Radio}} or another onto a talk page.

- Y103 Edits Example of adding a tag. Same idea would be used for delivering newsletters. Wikihermit(Speak) £ 15:06, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
