[edit] AutocracyBot
tasks • contribs • count • sul • logs • page moves • block user • block log • flag log • flag bot
Operator: Autocracy
Automatic or Manually Assisted: Automatic
Programming Language(s): Perl
Function Summary: Fulfilling simple requests from the Bot Requests page. Currently assisting the WP:Vandalism Study group by collecting stats (the bot flag giving me an order of 10 greater requests on api.php would be HUGE), and going to compile a nightly count of unused images.
Edit period(s) (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): Nightly for images count, one-time for others.
Edit rate requested: At a pace required to meet requests within a day, not > 1 per 15 seconds. (If I have only 600 pages to do, I'd space them a minute apart, etc.).
Already has a bot flag (Y/N):
Function Details: Uses Perlwikipedia, which I am patching as I go and trying ot contribute patches back to maintainer.
[edit] Discussion
Speedily Approved. for the vandalism studies stuff, the image count...why is that necessary? --ST47Talk 18:06, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- Said include all functions :) (and no, it's not necessary for the image count at all). AutocracyBot 18:14, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- Huh? clarifying. Vandalism stuff is Approved, keep the edit rate down. Why do you need to count images? (also, reply to comments and questions as yourself, not your bot :) --ST47Talk 18:18, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
