Template:Botstatusheader

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page is a list of all accounts that identify themselves as bot accounts. Please fill in your bot's information when approved and update it when the information changes.

To add your bot to the list, please use this template:

{{Bot's username|Bot's purpose|Owner's username|Date of approval|Bot status|Optional links to BRFA|Optional interwiki flag}}

For the bot status parameter, please enter:

  • discontinued if your bot is no longer in use
  • inactive if your bot has been disabled for a long period of time
  • active if your bot is currently actively editing Wikipedia
  • trial if your bot has been approved for a trial-run
  • malfunctioning if your bot is not working properly and\or has been temporarily disabled

If you have more than one BRFA discussion you think is relevant, you may include it in the optional sixth parameter above. Otherwise, it is not necessary since, if you leave it blank, a link to the discussion will be automatically generated.

If your main account is on a foreign language wiki, for the seventh parameter, include the interwiki flag of the foreign language wiki and an interwiki link to your account will be automatically generated. The interwiki flag is same as the sub-domain of the wiki. For instance, German Wikipedia is de.wikipedia.org. So, if your account is on German Wikipedia, the seventh flag would be "de" (without the quotation marks). If your main account is on English Wikipedia, you do not need to set the seventh parameter.

Please enter the date of approval as YEAR-MO-DY, so that it can be properly sorted by date.

This list is currently in the process of being cleaned up, so some of the information may be incorrect, missing, or out-of-date.
