Botryotinia fuckeliana is a plant pathogen.
The species epithet was named by mycologist Heinrich Anton de Bary in honor of another mycologist, Karl Wilhelm Gottlieb Leopold Fuckel.
This species is better known as its anamorph, Botrytis cinerea.
