Bothriospondylus ("excavated vertebrae") is an extinct genus of brachiosaurid sauropod dinosaur. It lived during the Late Jurassic.
The type species, B. suffosus, was described by Richard Owen in 1875. The genus's fossils have been found in England, France, and, perhaps, Madagascar (B. madagascariensis, Lydekker 1895). These findings have consisted mostly of vertebrae but pieces of hip and limb have also been found. In life Bothriospondylus's adult length has been estimated at 15-20 meters (50-65 feet). These dimensions fall between Brachiosaurus and Pleurocoelus.
