[edit] Renaming article
I propose that the old Boston Blazers article be renamed to "Boston Blazers (1992-1997)" or perhaps "Boston Blazers (MILL)", and this article be renamed as simply "Boston Blazers". The number of people searching for the old article will be much less than those searching for the existing team. - After some digging around Wikipedia, I believe the format used for teams using the same town and name in the same league would be to use Boston Blazers (1992-1997). Examples: Philadelphia Wings/Philadelphia Wings (1974-75), Cleveland Barons (1937-1973)/Cleveland Barons (2001-2006). Other teams have simply combined the histories of the franchise going under the name (Baltimore Blast, Minnesota Fighting Saints, St. Paul Saints). -Colslax 06:23, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

The old Boston Blazers were a team that existed from 1992 to 1997. That page has been renamed to Boston Blazers (1992-1997), and the Boston Blazers page now redirects there. This page is for a new NLL team beginning play this coming season. All pages that linked to the Boston Blazers page have been changed, except for two Wikipedia: namespaces pages and this talk page. --MrBoo (talk, contribs) 03:09, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
