I have to agree that this page is basically one large advertisement for the company.

If this was an advert for Boss, I think they'd mention more of their gear than is mentioned on this page. Currently it mentions guitar effects processors ONLY. I guess it's more correct to call those pedals tone-shapers. At least I saw such a definition on lots of musical websites.

I removed Michael Balzary from the list of people that use Boss products. Balzary and Flea are the same person and Flea was already in there. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Phefner (talk • contribs) 04:34, 18 February 2007 (UTC).

Someone has gone around and added Balzary to every list containing Flea. I'll try and clear that up at some point. I'm not sure this page merits a list of users though - after all it's much like listing writers who've owned a pen. *smb 23:54, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Artists who have used BOSS products

I believe this section should be completely removed. I can't think of any artist that never used any BOSS product. It's almost as having a list called "Programmers who have used Microsoft products". Only notable users (first users or endorsed players) should be listed, like Van Halen would be listed in a Peavey users list, with his Peavey 5150, for example. --SUBZ3R0 ( Talk | E-mail ) 19:35, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Image:Boss-logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. This page should be moved back to Boss Corporation. The name is not pronounced "B-O-S-S" and the letters don't stand for anything. Our manual of style for trademarks clearly indicates that in this case we should not reproduce the cosmetic all-caps rendering used by the company itself. —ptk✰fgs 05:37, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
