[edit] Early life

Cruelty and often-uncalculating rages defined the bounty-hunting career of Bossk, born the son of Cradossk, leader of the Bounty Hunters Guild, on Trandosha. His very first act was to eat his unhatched siblings, something that made his father beam with pride. Being a Trandoshan, Bossk began his career by Wookiee hunting, typically considered suicidal if attempted by any other species. During this time, Bossk made a name for himself and began accepting bounties on non-Wookiees as well, becoming one of the Galaxy's most feared bounty hunters. However, that did not necessarily making him powerful. He was no match for Boba Fett, or many other bounty hunters. [1]

Bossk is best known for his brief appearance in the fifth film. The only reason he is hunting for Han Solo is so that he can kill Chewbacca, and add his pelt to his collection. He also made an appearance in one of the anthologies from Bantam Spectra Books. Bossk's Ship (Hound's Tooth) was stolen by Boba Fett in the book Bounty Hunter Wars. The most recent sighting of Bossk was in The New Jedi Order series, in Jim Luceno's Agents of Chaos I: Hero's Trial
