Boss (Transformers)

Boss is the name of a fictional character in the vatious transformers universes. He was sold under the name Blizzard in France (as the same character) and under the name Mach Road in Japan (as a new character).

Boss is the co-leader of the Autobot Turbomasters. [1]
Boss leads with courage and cunning. Fearless in battle frontline. Can outwit even the smartest Decepticon with the sheer skill of his battle strategies. Boss has nearly unmatched courage, intelligence and skill. He has incredible firepower. He can turn into a race car with a top speed of over 245 mph. As vehicle, his central, forward facing turbine elevates to fend off attack from high flyers. As robot, armed with a powerful hand-held turbo defender rifle which fires powerful lasers or high explosive missiles. Although Boss can in overly cautious and bit hyperactive, he lacks any true weaknesses.
Boss appears on two Predator Megavisor slides; in robot mode on Snare's, and in car mode along with the other three small Turbomasters on Skydive's.

When civil war broke out on the planet Cybertron between the Autobots and Decepticons, Boss joined the Autobot cause.
When Decepticon leader Megatron and Autobot leader Optimus Prime disappeared in an accident with a space bridge, the Autobot and Decepticon forces splintered into smaller factions (Transformers: War Within - The Dark Ages #1).
Six million years ago, Ultra Magnus united the Autobot factions and lead them to victory over Decepticon and Ultracon factions, although Starscream's Predacons continued to fight. Megatron returned to Cybertron in command of the clone forces of the Aerospace Extermination Squadron and took over Cybertron (Transformers: War Within - The Age of Wrath #1).
Boss was among the small group of Autobots who escaped capture and fought to defeat Megatron. He was assigned with Flash, Hurricane and Scorch to work as the personal guards for the Autobot scientist Perceptor (Transformers: War Within - The Age of Wrath #2).

Boss is portrayed as a different character named Mach Road in Japan under the Operation Combination Transformers series. He is portrayed as an Autobot soldier who uses the sonic power of the wind to attack his rival Flarejet. [2]
