Bosnia and Herzegovina had its Eurovision Song Contest debut in 1993 (see ESC1993), and has competed every year since, except in 1998 and 2000.

Bosnia and Herzegovina had their best result in 2006, achieving 3rd place with the song Lejla by Hari Mata Hari.
