Bosnia and Herzegovina, after declaring independence from SFR Yugoslavia in 1991. sent its athletes to the Summer Olympic Games at the 1992 Summer Olympics for the first time under BiH flag. Before that BiH athletes competed under Yugoslavian flag (see Yugoslavia at the Olympics).
