Bosio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 km southeast of Turin and about 35 km southeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,183 and an area of 66.9 km².[1]

The municipality of Bosio contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Spessa, Costa S. Stefano, Capanne di Marcarolo, Serra, Mogreto, Maietto, and Val Pagani.

Bosio borders the following municipalities: Campo Ligure, Campomorone, Casaleggio Boiro, Ceranesi, Gavi, Genoa, Lerma, Masone, Mele, Mornese, Parodi Ligure, Rossiglione, Tagliolo Monferrato, and Voltaggio.
