This page is a listing of the things I am particularly proud of as a Wikipedian, and the things I believe to be mistakes that I have done. All are free to edit this page (with the exception of those putting vandalism and false accusations). As this is my userpage, if I see something I don't agree with, I may remove it at my discretion. Keep in mind that what is virtuous or a mistake is very subjective, and if it's not on here already, there's a decent chance that I may disagree with you (unless I happen to have overlooked it). However, I believe in owning up 100% to my mistakes, and as not to present a lopsided view, I may as well put all the good things I've done here too. :-P So, here it is.
[edit] The Good
- Model M keyboard: Future featured article candidate? I may start working towards that.
- Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Theodore7: I believe I've handled this one quite well.
- I have nominated the following current admins: User:BorgQueen (Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/BorgQueen); User:Deckiller (Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Deckiller)
[edit] The Bad
- I supported Freestylefrappe's RfA. Hindsight is 20/20.
- [1] : What a stupid idea. To be fair, I was rather agitated at the time, and I was feeling particularly "fuck the system", but that was a really bad idea. It escalated things rather than soothed them, which is absolutely against my policy of trying to make editors work better together. It violated WP:POINT. I did apologize twice for it, and the ArbCom unfortunately had to rule on my role in that whole big fiasco: Finding of fact and remedy.
[edit] The Ugly
- Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Kelly Martin/Original, which I started in the best of faith. It turned into a madhouse. Good intentions...
- I also have a history of assuming good faith when it's obvious to other editors that I'm assuming good faith of a troll. Alas, I'm naive.
