Peter Hosey, aka Mac-arena the Bored Zo, is:
- a developer on the Adium and Growl projects
- an expert programmer in C, Objective-C, and Python, and a novice programmer in Perl
- an expert Mac OS X user (currently on Tiger, with Panther on a separate partition)
- thoroughly pedantic
- a fan of Unicode and hyperlinks
The Bored Zo corrects the following on sight:
- any spelling error
- use of "--" where "—" is meant
- double-spaces after a full stop
- lists where a space does not occur between the "*" and the item text
- "However" not being followed by a comma when it should be (for example, "However some people choose to go to Subway instead of McDonald's")
- improperly-formatted links ([[x|x]], [[x|xs]], etc.)
- "seperate"
If you want to talk to the Bored Zo live, he typically is available on freenode, under the nickname Mac-arena or BoredZo.
