[edit] Boryspil city is outside of Boryspilskyi Raion
Boryspilskyi Raion consists of 1 city (misto) (Boryspil), Hi, if you will read Boryspil article it's clear that city is separate entity and not part of Raion (dispute been it's center). If consider it part of Raion we also need to add ~50,000 people to it. This render picture of Boryspil invalid for this article and it should be moved to city article. --TAG 19:21, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- I am not a specialist on Ukrainian administrative divisions, so I may be incorrect. But the city is located outside the raion (administrativly), and it is also part of the Boryspilskyi Raion (it is the administrative center), so I believe we should include it as being "part" of the raion. Then I guess we should add the pop. of the city to the raion population statistics. But if we decide to keep Boryspil as being "part" of the raion, why remove the picture? Even though the city is a separate administrative unit of Kiev Oblast, it also serves as the raion's administrative center so IMHO we should keep it... Am I making any sence:)? —dima/s-ko/ 19:34, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- It's not part of raion. Either you list raion here as administrative or geographical - not both. Take a look on similar notes at Izmail or Bila Tserkva. --TAG 20:01, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- OK, so let's just state in the settlements section that: Boryspilskyi Raion consists of 43 villages and 1 city (misto) (Boryspil), although it is designated as a separate administrative unit of Kiev Oblast, and is not located within the raion itself or smthing like that. —dima/s-ko/ 20:15, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
