Talk:Boris I of Bulgaria
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Quote: Boris was familiar with the work of Cyril and Methodius, the inventors of the Slavic alphabet, as early as 881-882.
The sentence was remained intact as I have no idea what Slavic alphabet the previous posters are referring to. Could it be Glagolitic alphabet or Cyrillic alphabet as mentioned several sentences later? kt2 02:38, 12 Nov 2003 (UTC)
There is not a single historical source claiming the Bulgarian monarch's title was Khan. The Bulgarians called their leader Kanasubigi(leader placed from God in old iranic) as we can see from their own stone inscriptions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BulgarEmperor (talk • contribs) 07:51, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
