Bortigali is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 120 km north of Cagliari and about 45 km west of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,502 and an area of 67.4 km².[1]
The municipality of Bortigali contains the frazione (subdivision) Mulargia.
