Borrego Air Ranch (ICAO: K5L5FAA LID: 58CL) is a private airfield located 8 miles by road (13 km) southeast of Borrego Springs, a city in San Diego County, California, United States, and about 3 miles (4.8 km) east of the “Montesoro private golf resort, Desert Lodge and Las Casitas, two small communities in the Anza-Borrego Desert.
The preferred runway, 08/26, is 2,314 ft (705 m) long between displaced thresholds and 45 ft (13.7 m) wide. The landing facility, also called “Air Street”, is one of the eleven ways in the Air Ranch, together with Stinson Road, Piper, Cherokee or Connie lanes.
The Desert Shores Marina (Salton Sea), just outside the restricted flight area, are just 18 nm northeast of Borrego Air Ranch.
