Born of You was Culture's first and only full length album. It is an extremely important album in the lines of the second wave hardcore.

The band originally went in studio and recorded many different versions of each songs. They came out with three different concepts of what the album would end up being. The one chosen was released on Conquer The World Records in 1994. The remaining DAT tapes of unreleased takes are in Mike Warden's collection. The album was released on 1800 blue, red, orange and black vinyls copies and 1000 CDs. There are still unsold copies remaining.

In 1996, after some line-up changes, the band went back in studio to re-record five songs that were due to be released on Mike Warden Can Suck It, titled after a feud with CTW owner over the disapproval of the albums artwork, however this release never came out.

In 1998, Culture's coming to Europe for a tour supported by their new label, Good Life Recordings, needed copies of the album. The label decided to re-release is with a new artwork, on CD and vinyl. This was also re-pressed in 2004 on a red tinted cover.
