Borislav Brondukov

Borislav Brondukov (Russian: Борислáв Николáевич Брондукóв) (born March 1, 1938, died March 10, 2004) was a Ukrainian and Soviet film character actor.

He was born in the village of Dubava of Kievskaya oblast of Ukrainian SSR in a Russian-Polish family. After graduating technical school he started to work at the Kiev Arsenal factory. At this time Brondukov began to perform in theater. His work was seen by the rector of Karpenko-Karoy Institute of Theatrical Arts in Kiev and at an age of 23 Borislav became a student there.

Since 1965 Brondukov has been an actor of the Kiev film studio, though he has worked at many film studios in the USSR.

Brondukov was a People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1988), the first winner of the A.Dovzhenko Ukrainian State Prize (1995).
