Borgholzhausen is a town in the district of Gütersloh in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located in the Teutoburg Forest, approx. 20 km north-west of Bielefeld.

Borgholzhausen lies in the middle of a clearing in the Teutoburg Forest on the northern edge of the Westfälischen Bucht. The city's centre lies about one kilometer east of Johannisberg. Borgholzhausen is sister cities with New Haven, Missouri.
