Border Star Montessori, Border Star Montessori Elementary School, or Border Star is a comprehensive montessori elementary school located at 6321 Wornall Road in Kansas City, Missouri. It is part of the Kansas City, Missouri School District.

Border Star Montessori is located in the Brookside neighborhood at 63rd & Wornall only two blocks from Southwest Early College Campus. It was once Border Star Elementary before deciding to place the last montessori school at the current location. Border Star was the third montessori school out of three montessori schools in the district.
Border Star Prairie Outdoor Classroom was created after native prairie grasses and wildflower seeds were sown in 1999.
Missouri Department of Conservation produces a 30 minute television program based on Border Star’s Prairie in 2000-2001.
This school receives an “associated school of recognition” award from American Montessori International/USA between 2001-2003.
