The Centennial Baseball League is a semi-professional baseball series in the southwestern United States. The League is a member of the International Baseball Foundation along with National Baseball Congress and was founded by Bob Lipp. In 1985 Lipp was co-owner of the Wichita Broncos, a top NBC team, and also founded the NBC Dodge City Desperados in 2005 along with the Bisbee Kings in 2006, who play in the Centennial League. Lipp has attempted to create different independent baseball leagues, one, the Arizona-Mexico League, played a short season in 2003 and others, the Piedmont League and Southwestern League, never played a game.
