Borden County Independent School District

Borden County Independent School District is a public school district based in the community of Gail, Texas (USA). The district serves all of Borden County with the exception of a small southwestern portion, which is served by the Sands Consolidated Independent School District. A small portion of Howard County lies within the district.
Borden County ISD has one school that serves students in grades Pre-Kindergarten though twelve.
As of the 2005-2006 Texas Education Agency School Report Card, the enrollment in Borden County Schools was 155 students in grades K-12. [1]

BCISD received a "Recognized" School Accountability Rating on its Texas Education Agency 2005-2006 School Report Card. [2]

The Borden Coyotes won the Texas 1-A six-man state football championship in 1997, defeating Panther Creek by a score of 48 to 16. In 1998, the BHS football team were state runners-up, falling to Trinidad 62 to 16. [3]
