Borbona is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rieti in the Italian region Latium, located about 90 km northeast of Rome and about 25 km northeast of Rieti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 694 and an area of 46.5 km².[1]

The municipality of Borbona contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Piedimordenti and Vallemare.

Borbona borders the following municipalities: Antrodoco, Cagnano Amiterno, Cittareale, Micigliano, Montereale, Posta.
