Borås Arena is a football stadium in Borås, Sweden. It was opened in 2005 and has a capacity of 14,500–17,800 depending on usage. Borås Arena has an artificial turf pitch. Both clubs presently using the arena previously played their home games on Ryavallen. It is the only arena used in Allsvenskan built in the last 40 years (after 1966, although two more arenas are being built and will be opened in 2008).
The first game at Borås Arena was when IF Elfsborg faced Örgryte IS 17 April 2005 in Allsvenskan. The game ended in a 1-0 victory for Elfsborg, and the goalscorer was Daniel Mobaeck. The current record attendance is 17,070 and was set 4 July 2005, when IF Elfsborg faced Kalmar FF, a game which marked the return of both Anders Svensson and Mathias Svensson.
The arena is located in Knalleland and is very close to the newly built athletics hall Ryahallen.
