[edit] Sinebot
I noticed your comment on the Reference Desk about sinebot always thinking you haven't signed even when you have. The reason for this is that your signature doesn't directly link to your userpage. It links to User:Esskater11, which redirects to your user page. I'm not quite sure why you have it like this, as User:Esskater11 has never actually been created, but never mind. If you'd like sinebot to stop following you around, simply edit your signature to link directly to your user page. Raven4x4x (talk) 08:41, 21 December 2007 (UTC)

Although the drive is officially closed, existing participants can continue tagging until January 31 if they wish, with the extra tags counting towards their tally for barnstar purposes. We'd like to see what lessons can be learned from this drive, so we've set up a feedback workshop. [edit] Customising the 'new messages' banner
(This is in reply to a Help Desk question.) This is entirely possible. To change the banner's colour to your own view, you can add some code to your monobook.css. Here's some code last used on April Fool's Day, for instance, that makes it green instead:
.usermessage { background-color: #CFFFCF; border: 1px solid #66E566; }
It's possible to use different code to change its colour or other details; if you have something specific in mind, let me know. Hope that helps! --ais523 15:58, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, it's possible to change the text color. Here's the above, but with white text:
.usermessage { background-color: #CFFFCF; border: 1px solid #66E566; color: #FFFFFF; } .usermessage a { color: #FFFFFF; }
- This generalises to other text colors in the same way. (The
.usermessage a
changes the colours of links in the bar.) Hope that helps! --ais523 08:37, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Invitation
Hello. You may have seen that some Wikipedia articles lack sources to given dates, timelines and chronologies.
If you feel that you could like to help in making all articles more reliable and well sourced in this regard, we would like to encourage you to use, as part of your daily editing and when {{fact}} is not enough for requesting clearly and specifically a citation or source for dates, timeline or chronology, the following inline tags:
- {{Histfact}} displays {history source needed} for requesting sources for historical claims and history context. Click here for more information
- {{Timefact}} displays {chronology source needed} for requesting timelines, dates and chronology sources. Click here for more information
At WP Timeline Tracer, we thank you for using these tools and for helping to make Wikipedia articles more accurate and reliable.

[edit] Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

Hello! How is adding a published source vandalism? Anyway, I clarified what the source said and who Rick Baker is in relation to Infinity Ward. I fixed my edit a bit further. Best, --Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 22:27, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Heckler & Koch MP5
Regarding this. I'm well aware that weapon fans like yourself would like to keep that ugly reference out of the article, but there are two sources, the information is relevant to the article topic and it is in the best interest of our reader to mention it in one single sentence. Removing referenced information in this POV manner can be considered vandalism among other policy violations. If you don't want to revert yourself, I expect you at least file for an independent third opinion, or an WP:RFC. User:Dorftrottel 23:52, February 10, 2008
- AGF does not override common-sense. Judging by your user page, you are a weapon fan, and it is reasonable to assume that your edit reflects a non-encyclopedic interest to keep that specific information out of the article. As I said, WP:3 or WP:RFC. User:Dorftrottel 00:25, February 11, 2008
- 3RR? Did you actually click on WP:3? It is a link to Wikipedia:Third opinion, not to Wikipedia:Three-revert rule. Speaking of which, I filed for a third opinion and you may want to present your arguments at Talk:Heckler & Koch MP5#Red Army Faction / WP:3. User:Dorftrottel 00:50, February 11, 2008

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:BanzaiRabbit.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:BanzaiRabbit.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:56, 22 February 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 02:56, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
